The partnership between Local Energy and the Energy Saving Trust is already bearing fruit.
A consortium of Local Energy, the Energy Saving Trust, Marksman Consulting and Ernst and Young are hopeful of winning a contract to work with councils in the West Midlands.
The project will include workshops, web support and tailored advice on green deal, the CRC Energy Efficiency Schemes and ways that councils can take advantage of feed in tariffs and the renewable heat incentive.
Local Energy CEO Andy Johnston said “this work is bang on mission for us as a social enterprise dedicated to helping councils navigate low carbon policy and finance”.
