Our analysis of the CRC Performance League Table (PLT) has found that amongst the 166 local authority participants in England and Wales, Labour councils performed better than Conservative and Liberal Democrat.
Interestingly, councils with no overall political control performed significantly better than those with it. The Average EAM figures were 41.7 for those with no contol, 31.8 for Labour, 24.5 Conservatives and 22.7 for the two Liberal Democrat Councils. Please see the graphs below for detailed results.
